“Ali is, hands down, a find. She was introduced to me as someone who could finish a project started by someone else and she did over and above. I have worked with many video professionals and I can honestly say that she is head and shoulders abopve them all. I would not hesitate to use her again and again.” – Tom Hoover, producer
“I have had the pleasure of working with Alison on several projects as both a writer and video editor. Her desire to connect with the subject matter is what first impressed me about Alison. Once this passion was reflected in her writing, I knew that Alison would remain a member of my creative pool. In Fall 2009, Alison developed a promotional video for my networking group and knocked it right out of the park. It is refreshing to work with someone who always sees the positive, is witty and has such a great read on people and situations. I look forward to working with Alison for years to come.” – Dana Anderson, producer
“After having worked with Ali at Playboy Enterprises, Inc. for some time, I witnessed not only her incredible talent but also her extreme diligence and work ethic. I was hired for a freelance project to shoot and edit by the Resource Center of Chicago for their City Farm project. After having shot it, my schedule became too full to finish the post production and I needed someone to edit the final video. Personally, I prefer to edit my own work, so choosing an artist I felt could deliver a video to the standards I hold for myself was not a task in which I was comfortable. But before even going through my list of contacts, I thought of Ms. Weiss. Knowing her to be fully capable of completing the job, I hired her without a second thought. During the process she maintained excellent communication with me, took direction very well while also delivering the content I needed prior to the deadlines we set. I was absolutely impressed with the final video she created and her passion for the project as a whole. Based on that experience, I will use no other editor for my work from now on (not even myself). “Ali and I have had the opportunity to work together several times over the past 2 years. Ali possesses the skills you hope for in an editor: intelligence, a great sense of pacing, ability to tell a story succinctly, and easy to work with. She often brings a creative twist to a project while maintaining the overall objective. Ali is a pleasure to work with and I recommend her for your next editing job.” – Jackie Sestak, Owner, Through My Eyes, Inc.
